The resources available on this website are intended to support transparency, informed decision-making and consistent engagement with our training services.

Learners and employers remain responsible for deciding how training is applied within their own role, workplace, policies and governance arrangements.
Clarivive MedInsight provides training to support learning, awareness, knowledge development and, where applicable, practical skill development.
Some courses are knowledge-based and may be assessed through online questions, knowledge checks, declarations or completion activities.
Some face-to-face, blended or practical courses may include trainer-led demonstration, learner practice and practical assessment in a training environment. This may apply to courses such as first aid, emergency first aid at work, first aid at work, choking response, moving and handling, safe medication administration and other practical health and social care training where applicable.
Where practical assessment is included, learners are assessed against the approved course criteria. The assessment confirms whether the learner has demonstrated the required course standard during the training session or simulated training activity.
Certificates are issued only where the stated course completion, attendance, participation and assessment requirements have been met.
A certificate may confirm one or more of the following, depending on the course:
• completion of online learning
• attendance at a live or face-to-face session
• successful completion of a knowledge assessment
• successful practical demonstration against approved course criteria
• completion of a blended learning pathway
• completion of a course designed to meet a stated training framework or course standard, where this is clearly stated on the course page
Unless explicitly stated, a certificate does not confirm:
• workplace competence in the learner’s own employment setting
• employer authorisation to carry out duties
• professional registration
• statutory licence
• regulatory approval
• fitness to practise
• permission to practise independently
• competence with every local policy, care plan, risk assessment, medicine system, device or item of workplace equipment
For practical courses, Clarivive MedInsight may assess competence within the scope of the course and training environment. Employers remain responsible for deciding whether staff are competent and authorised to perform specific duties in the workplace, including local induction, supervision, workplace observation, policy training, risk assessment and ongoing competency review.
Where a course is advertised as Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work or another defined course type, the specific course page will explain the course scope, duration, assessment method, certificate wording and any applicable renewal or refresher expectations.
For employer-booked courses, completion and assessment information may be shared with the employer where this is part of the booking arrangement and lawful to do so.
Access to learning materials, assessments, certificates and learner records is managed through Clarivive MedInsight’s learning management system or other approved systems.
Access is restricted to authorised users only.
Public access is not provided to assessment tools, certificate systems, learner records or internal training records.
Clarivive MedInsight aims to support fair and accessible learning where reasonably possible.
Learners are encouraged to tell us as early as possible if they require support, reasonable adjustments or accessibility assistance.
Reasonable adjustments are considered on a case-by-case basis. Adjustments must remain safe, proportionate and consistent with the course learning outcomes and assessment requirements.
Reasonable adjustments cannot remove essential course requirements, reduce assessment standards, create unsafe practice or provide unfair advantage.
Clarivive MedInsight Ltd is an independent training provider. Where relevant to a particular course, training content may be developed with reference to applicable UK legislation, official guidance, recognised sector standards, frameworks and evidence-based good practice.
Relevant sources may include guidance or frameworks published by bodies such as Skills for Care, Skills for Health, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), NHS bodies, NICE, UKHSA, CQC and other appropriate organisations, depending on the subject of the course.
Reference to, alignment with, or mapping against any external legislation, guidance, standard or framework does not imply that Clarivive MedInsight Ltd or a particular course is endorsed, approved, accredited, certified, quality-assured or formally recognised by the issuing organisation unless this is expressly stated and can be evidenced.
Employers, commissioners and learners remain responsible for determining whether a course is suitable for their particular role, workplace, local policy, regulatory requirements or competency arrangements. Any formal accreditation, approval or recognised status will be clearly identified on the relevant course information where applicable.
We aim to keep resources accurate, relevant and appropriate. However, guidance, legislation, sector expectations and external resources may change.
